Jeff I know Tom Buckman had 1 come apart at the Oscoda Cendiv event. Looked like you cut about 6-8 grooves around the tire and then rolled the rubber up like the worst graining you ever saw. I had 1 start to do it, demounted the tire and flipped it. It's been ok since...weird. Looks like it's been spun and scribed with a razor blade has several totally straight grooves around it. At solo speeds I just check it after each run.....so far so good.
