We typically put close to 140 runs on a set of tires before we stop running them. And with that number of runs we are to the point you can't see the wear holes anymore.

We run 3 drivers in the car at most of our local events and this year we have over 216 runs on our car, including Nationals. So we go through 2 sets of tires a year.

Hi John,
I think the R25a will start to go away after about 60-80 autocross runs.
I use mine for about 1 season maybe 80-100 runs depending on events
and co-driver. If I run year old tires I can tell a difference in the handling,
generally less grip all the way around. For me I think new tires are worth
about 1 second on the "average" 50 second course. The slicker the
surface the bigger the difference.
