Richard, top of the rule, NO NITROGEN!!! I would limit the travel, even the same 1" would be better with oil dampening it. They don't use sway bars now? Why can't you have 40 shocks in the trailer now with different rubber combo's? CR

Shock must operate in any position. Springs from the manufacture must be available in variable and linear compression, have rates that can be purchased from 50 to 200lbs at full compression and be available in 10lb increments. Must not be any larger than 2.5" in diameter and must have a local factory repair shop that can repair or upgrade my shock. Gosh, I just hope I have enough room in my trailer for a couple of complete sets of front and rear coil overs and all the different springs. And you know guys, all those fancy coil overs will not be all the great unless we have front and rear anti-sway bars. The rear bar must be adjustable from the cockpit. After all, real race cars have anti-sway bars. And what are we going to do about the engines. We don't just want anyone taking these things apart and putting them together in god know what fashion. I suggest that Tony be commissioned to supply sealed engines compete with carbs. The only thing you add is exhaust and fuel. Tony has no responsibility in the reliability of the engines. You buy it, you break it, take it back to Tony and get a new sealed engine. And what about tires and wheels. Boy o' boy, when I get to thinking about all the different combinations, it makes my head spin. Let get a spec rim and tire. Next thing you know, somebody will be putting those little skinny 6" wide 18" high tires on the front and get an areo advantage (oops !) There goes my secret for next year. ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Wednesday, October 25, 2006 8:23 PM Subject: [F500] Write the Shock Rule > Guys, > Let's start (and this IS a start) writing the rule spec's for this coil over > shock: > > 1.
