Nothing wrong with wings Ed. In fact, I like winged things. Take Mini-Indy
for
example. Mini-Indy cars are modified F5 cars that have wings. In fact, one
could buy a Predator Mini-Indy car in kit form for under $10k. Just add a
600cc motorcycle engine with car kit and you'd have a F5 car with wings,
coil
over shocks, and ARB for less than the cost of a ready-to-race F5 car.
...How'd dey doo dat?

Bruce
My F33A Beech
Bonanza could land at 52mph (good for those slow corners) and
had a straight
line speed of 170KTs (195.5mph) which is a hell of a lot
faster than any F500
or S2000 I've ever driven.
What's wrong with wings..as a matter of fact we can
now buy those soon to be
worthless F1000
homebuilts (read non-Stohr) put our
494/493 Rotaxes in them and be
................F500!!!!
