Good point on taper starting point, Dave.
The thing to look for is when the center to center is 10", then the
secondary moveable sheeve may hit the gear drive housing on the motor(at
full shift out or overrun) when it liines up properly with the primary.

Kaw taper is 10/1 30mm dia.
I believe the Polaris taper has almost
always been the same.
Note the "offset" or the point where
the taper starts may vary on different clutches,
requiring the realignment of the primary/secondary.
