I suspest that the normally aspirated engines in a f-500 would have a time
breathing at that altitude the 500 MC record is held by gary hensley in a
turbo honda and the 1000 production record is held by an MV Agusta with the
stock fuel injection.

Subject: [F500] A couple of questions - one OT
First the OT one, how do cars with motorcycle engines have a reverse?
My old Gold Wing had reverse, but I don't think any of the sportbike
engines do.
Second, what do you think the terminal velocity of a KBS with 494
would be? Looking at the land speed records at Bonneville, the
Lakester K Gas class (where the car would fit) is a touch under 150
mph. With higher gearing, do you think a Mark 5 could bust that?
Just a slow day here,
Gene near Seattle
