Cory makes an excellent point. Once you Northern folks tire of the cold,
come on down. Check our websites (you can find them via scca.org), come on
down, and thaw out.

Hey everyone - this is not a good start to the season for participation
numbers. The Sebring race could count on 8-12 cars not too long ago.
Where were the Sidewinders and the rest of the Dolphins? Everyone north
of FL, TX, and AZ still has plenty of time to get ready for the first
races of the year - so shut off the computer and get out in the garage!
When planning your schedule this year, look for double national weekends
(I'm pushing to be ready for the NN at TMS). Not only will this give us
2x the entries, but also help with Runoffs qualifying.
We can keep f500 healthy!

Who was running this weekend at Sebring. My wife and I went to supper
Saturday at the Four Points with some friends and as we were going in
there was a
blue/yellow F5 on the track - didn't catch the number but it was fun to
point
out the car to folks who had never seen one.

Clair,
This was the first National race of the year. The blue and yellow car
would have been Rusty. Four cars were entered:
Rusty Cook
Jack Walbran
Jim Elder
Chuck McAbee
Chuck crashed on Saturday and I heard he broke his thumb in multiple
places. He was unable to start on Sunday. Jim Elder finished 1st, Rusty
was 2nd and Jack 3rd.
