Sorry about the crash but glad to hear you are sort of alright. I know
someone who underwent same type surgery. You may heal faster but figure on
two months. Maybe you can rig up a necking knob.

The car is not too badly damaged. Right front corner and repair to the
rear
to A-arm mount and the car will be back on the track. I just went to a
Hand
Surgeon this morning....surgery is scheduled for Wednesday to clean up the
break and insert some screws and pins. Unfortunately, I have had to
withdraw from Homestead. Kershaw is looking to be out of the question and
Savannah may be doubtful. It will take much more than a broken thumb to
keep me off the track for too long.

I'm a little surprised that no one seems concerned about Mr. McAbee. Is he
alright? How soon will he be able to get back? Was the car damaged
severely?
I think this is more important right now than participation numbers.
