As many of you know from my postings I purchased a 1995 KBS Mk5 from Pat
McRee in Lapeer MI this past weekend. He bought the car from Edwards Racing
in Sturgis MI I believe from a Jeff Auberger. Mr. Auberger is no longer at
the number given. I would like to reach him or Fred Edwards. I have two
logbooks dating back to 1997 when the car was apparently converted from a
440 to a Rotax 500.The first entry is the 97 runoffs where it had a minor
crash. I can not make out the two names that signed in for that event a
Bill (?)something and an Al something (I wish we were required to print our
names instead of signing in since so many of these signatures appear to have
been written by MDs) The car was very active in 98 going to both the June
sprints and the Runoffs again but I can't read the names of the drivers. In
98 there is a perfectly legible Julia Cook at a Natl in Michigan. In 99
there is a perfectly legible Fred Edwards at the Mid-Ohio CDROC(?) in June.
the car continued to be very actively raced with Jeff Auberger showing in
Aug99 at a NE Ohio Natl.
Since 2000 it was raced by Pat McRee. The car is listed as a KBS MK5 mfg# is
004 MKV It was originally blue and later changed to it's present red white
black paint scheme that was in the ad
on the F500 site. If anyone knows any one of the names I mentioned or the
names of the actual owners particulalry the first owner I would be
interested if you could tell me how to get in touch with them or have them
