Jeremy
Thank you for the useful info and I will be careful. Q had already mentioned
that the MK5 was a "twitchy" car. Since my reflexes have slowed just a tad
with age I might consult with Q as to how to get some of the tail happiness
out of it. It is funny that you should mention that as Jeff Jorgenson said I
would have a blast with the car as long as I didnt mind driving like Gilles
Villenueve.
Not only will I ever be able to drive like either of the Villenueves but I'm
not even a Canadien!

I believe Gary Smith drove the car at the Runoffs one year. Also, there
was another guy that drove at the Runoffs in the car that was a CEO with
Direct TV or something like that. I have the Runoffs tape when it was the
camera car. Rusty Cook drove the car at Grattan in the rain and did quite
well at a special invite of the Edwards.
It was well prepared by Pat and the Edwards and I have many fond battles
with Pat at Mid Ohio and Nelson's. He did the chassis gussets where it
needed it. The MKV can still be pretty quick, but have good reflexes as
the rear end likes to hop a little bit and it definitely likes things more
sideways. However, you can get a QRE graft fairly cheap on the rear end.
The Edwards are in Sturgis Michigan.
Have fun with the car and set it up at the front just like the Invader.
