I am 230 or so with gear. When the 493 engine was weighed at 850, I had about 28lbs of ballast in the car. I'll be close at the new 825 weight. This is in a KBS mk7. There are definitely lighter chassis out there... You can always go to no onboard battery, or starter, or use a lighter this or that as you need to. You just have to pay attention to where you can lose weight out of the car.

I scale at about 212 at the gym before my workout. At that weight plus driving suit, helmet, HANS, etc. and in the car with about a gallon and a half, me and my Mk7 weighed 831 on SCCA's scales. dg ----- Original Message ----- From: "Flash." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, February 22, 2007 7:26 PM Subject: [F500] size in an f500 > hey, > > with minimum weight what is the typical amount of weight left over for a > driver in an f500?
