This is a wild ass guess to your question that I didn't answer in my
last post,
remember this is a ball park guess ( I could be nuts).
The valve should be opening maybe in the range of 120-100 degrees
before top dead center. I'd guess the valve is open about 145-155 degrees
of travel so it should close somewhere in the 35--50 degree range after
TDC.
Somebody with a Rotax manual could give you the real numbers
but these should be close enough to tell if it's way the hell off.
Key words are GUESS and BALLPARK.
