Tony also remember Bill switched to the 4 stroke bike engine because he was sick of going home because of the noise issue we have at Devens. I only wish we had the option of doing a 4 stroke sled engine. Maybe if we stay in it a few more years we will have to make them legal for NER for noise abatement issues!!!!

PS: Have a ball riding my new Suzuki SV650 (V-twin) that only cost me $5720! Hell you could buy two of these bikes and use one for spares while using one of the engines in the F500 and spend less than I spent having the Rotax put in my Zink (plus other improvements)!

Subject: [F500] Tony Jag, A Little History on A Mod CVT Cars

Tony,
In my several conversations with Bill Goodale about his A Mod car while it was a CVT car (now it's motorcycle) over the years, he never mentioned clutch belts being a problem. This is also true of all the other A Mod CVT cars - George Bowland's 2 cars, the Canadian Chang car, and others. Their biggest area for improvement was that the clutches were never tuned to the best that they could be because they had so much power already that it was everything that they could do to hold on!!!
