I agree with Ed's previous post disagreeing with the statement that we're
not losing racers. In the SE it's a fact that we're losing more than we're
gaining. I personally know of 4-6 in the SE that are no longer
consistently racing national events (The Teague brothers, guys from Dolphin
- Bob/Jim/Jack/plus some of their past renters, 2 others from our Atlanta
based X1 race team that me, Clint and Eric are a part of). We used to have
a blast b/c we always had at least 6-8 competitive cars per national
race...now we're just lucky if Clint, myself and Eric are competing in the
same one (and we're all on the same team)!
