Don't think you can legally use "wheels of non-metallic construction".
Looks like it is supposed to go in GCR section: 9.3.35. NON-METALLIC WHEEL CONSTRUCTION Non-metallic chassis construction is prohibited, except in ASR, CSR, DSR, S2000, and FA, where it is allowed. I am almost positive it used to be there specifically. I can't find an older GCR to see the previous wording. Maybe they are now calling the wheels part of the chassis. Feel free to push the limits, but I'd be sure to take a backup set of aluminum wheels. OK? With all of the wheel talk has anyone tried or have knowledge of the Carbon Fibre wheels offered by Hyper racing for use on 1000cc oval cars? To all of the P.E.s out there, is this a safe experiment to try for a 900lb car driver combo in F5?
