This may be old data, but those are about 75 HP motors w/out forced induction in cars that weigh less than most bikes.

A few weeks ago, I talked to one of the Kansas University FSAE guys at a
local autocross. He said they run wet sump, stock pan with multiple
drivers for 2 years. Then they tore down the engine and found some wear
in the rod and main bearings. They replaced all of them and are still
flogging the engine today. It is a CBR F4 Honda engine. He also told me
that they wouldnt dare try that if they were road racing, but, due to
the short duration of solo competition, they can get away with minimal
oiling/lubrication. They are running the "non-turbo" rules for FSAE. It
involves unlimited cams and compression, as I recall.
