Replacement, not alternative is more like-there is at least a solid 14-17 HP increase in rear wheel HP with the Suzuki GSRX600(remap and pipe) over the best developed Rotaxes and pipes.

More than that with the better Honda 600cc motor.

The 600cc bike motors have very close ratios and will not be caught in a wrong gear in a corner very often. They shall walk away until they lap the F500's.

F600 costs will indeed escalate because the combo will need shocks and more frame and suspension strength for the extra power and extra weight. The cars will go thru more 10" tires also.

Routine maintencance is estimated at 2x the cost of freshening a Rotax.

The therorectical lower intial coat will be long forgotten.

I predict MC motors have not been thought through and it will be fad-just like the Zetecs saving FF2000.

5 years from now people may wish they could go back to their Rotax 2-strokes and CVT's.

You should have found a cheap replacement Japanese 2-stroke, not a cheap 4-stroke.

If you can't figure out clutching, perhaps a manual transmission 2-stroke, then, as a alternative
