Anybody else get caught out on the new helmet rule ? Went to my region tech inspection and had them beat me up on a car that ran nationals last year, then I ask, what about my safety gear ? They said we don't check that here, but I can look at it if you want. So I show my helmet and he says "is this the SA2005 rated helmet ?" , and I say "duh". So he looks inside and proclaims that "you need a new helmet" So now the cash register just went up another $400 dollars.
Is there no end ?
