Yeah, it's a thread that comes up every five years. Don't forget the
belts in the car, they are good through the end of the year that is two
years after the manufacture date on the belts (if the manufacture date
is Jan 06, the belts expire Dec 08; if the belts' date is Dec 05, they
expire Dec 07.) Unless you have FIA certified belts, then they are
good until the expiration date on the belts. When I put in new belts,
I made sure they had a January date.

This must be a great windfall for the helmet makers. Ordered mine from
Pegasus, not in stock, hope to have it by MAM race weekend. Should
have
bought stock in Bell, Simpson, G-force, etc last fall.
