I finished the wiring today and started it up. It sprang to life
immediately, but I left the chokes on too long. When I released the
chokes, it appears to run OK, but on one cylinder, with the PTO EGT
very low (I could touch the exhaust manifold) on the PTO (left) side.
The plug was wet, so I cleaned and dried it. Same thing. I don't have
the muffler installed yet, so I couldn't run it very long above idle.
Meanwhile I have a theory that perhaps the left choke is mis adjusted
and the valve isn't closing ---how can you tell?
