you cant do that, it has to be one single piece with no evidence of crimping at the bends and even if it were allowed , would you really want to do that??? youd be better off doing the extra work just to replace the entire bar and some support bracing

I'm considering a more upright seating position in my KBS Mk7 (for Autocross) but in order to accomplish that, I'd need to raise the height of my rollbar. I've checked the GCR and Solo Rules and it appears that it would NOT be acceptable to graft a section onto the the existing rollbar. Am I reading this correctly, or is there an easy (cheap) way to increase rollbar height without major cutting and fabrication?
