F:\media\Repositories\TubbyMcTubs
F:\media\Repositories\JCKarter\Rowsdower
I added a factor-rc file to my user directory, as above, to include some new
factor repos at roots.
The error in the command window is
...
1: F:\media\Repositories\TubbyMcTubs
^
No word named ΓÇ£F:\media\Repositories\TubbyMcTubsΓÇ¥ found in current vocabular
y search path
F:\media\repositories\Factor1>
...
Looks like there is a character-encoding problem or corruption. The factor-rc
file looks ok. Not sure how this happened.

Is anyone having trouble building the latest Factor clean pull?
I was working on a bunch of vocabs (in the work directory) using E, which is
going well, BTW. I saved my work and rebooted for some Windows updates.
Double-clicking factor.exe suddenly did not launch the GUI, as usual. I got an
hourglass cursor for about a second. There was no residual process in TaskMan.
Has this ever happened to anyone on W7U?
I ran /build-support/factor.cmd clean. The build finished successfully, and
factor.exe still would not launch. I renamed my repo out of the way, cloned a
new repo, and rebuilt. This time the build failed with a long dump in the
command window.
Try running factor.com from a command prompt. If there's an early error in the
VM, you should see it in the console and get some idea of what the problem is.
