Do you "get" what Transgressive sacrality is all about? Once you realize what he's talking about, you'll get it right away. It's a good topic for TMO people to hear, being so hyper-sheltered and cultic. I've written a good number of articles on several of his lists--and despite a really strong academic editorial policy--he has published all of them. So I feel I understand him already somewhat. His writings strike a real resonance in me, as do those of Elizabeth. Re: KS. It seems to me his connection there is largely in reference to some research he did on Abhinavagupta's writings on theatre. Yes, plays, theatre. This is not too surprising if you are familiar with Advaita Vedanta, since classic works on this school of non-dualism also have sections on the 'world as theatre". -V.
