Don't try to be too technical if you don't know how to say what you mean. A drip of a substantial concentration of Potassium Chloride (KCl) would first cause a heart arrhythmia that slowly progressed from uncomfortable to most likely a painful heat attack like experience, then death. Deep sedation then a dose of KCI many times the lethal range is given as quickly as possible in the IV. This stops the heart within a few seconds.
