Not everyone likes this book, some are turned off immediately. I picked it up almost 30 years ago and my life has been different ever since. It doesn't offer a lot of esoteric techniques to create enlightenment,in fact I don't think the word 'enlightenment' is even in it, however the explanation of why we are here is relatively simple and reasurring and pretty much encompasses all spiritual teachings. Rick Carlstrom I think his dictation of the book was simply dharana-dyana-samadhi on the subject in question and it was revealed or known.
