You know -- stronger stock market, lower hospital admissions, lower crime rates, etc. I know some of that research has been disputed, but do you dismiss all of it? Or perceive no relative changes directly? Tom T attempts an answer: The only thing I am sure of is that as we have gathered more people into Satsang that are Awake, the more I hear others in town are beginning to also Awake. In other words, our little gathering seems to have spilled into town and more popcorn is popping. Is it attributable to a gathering? Who knows but it seems reasonable. The more we have in the room who are awake the more who seem to get the Understanding of what it is and they do it very quickly. One night Walter Day asked all those who are Awake if they go to the Dome. The answer was none do. He thought we would be so much more powerful if we did. The consensus answer was. We are the Dome. Everything we do is the Dome. We don't need to go somewhere to be that which we are 24/7. As my friend Michael Goodman likes to say. The only person who ever meditated perfectly was already Awake.
