So you are saying anyone who can be kept alive as a vegetable
forever and ever should be kept alive by the state?
Not at all. Not all of the doctors who have examined Terri agree she is in PVS. In fact one doctor that examined her for ten hours claims he has rehabilitated people in far worse shape than Terri. I believe there was a link last night interviewing him posted on FFL. He is also a Nobel Prize nominee for his work with people like Terri. There are many other Neurologists who have come forward and said she is neither in a coma or PVS and can be rehabilitated. The  four doctors that testified before the court on Michael Schiavo's behalf spent far less time examining Terri and one has had his practices questioned by his peers in the Lancet. But, why not rush to judgement? Wasn't that what Bush was criticized for in Going intro Iraq, rushing to judgement on WMD?I suppose if Terri is starved to death by sentence of court nobody will ever know the truth. But I'll tell you this if she wins her day in court and her family takes custody and she goes through therapy and improves the quality of her life, there will be a lot of people that should be ashamed of themselves. Maybe its a good thing you keep your identity a secret. Terri's time will come when her organs shut down or she develops disease. Why push it?Why do you want her to die?If Terri were conscious , aware and responsive would you want her to starve to death or die of thirst?Death should have to find us, we shouldn't have to go looking for it.
