I think you should perhaps look at my original post concerning the topic and read it carefully and what it was in response to. You and Bob are preaching to the chior. Christianity as it is practiced among Catholics and Protestants will never accept the concept of higher states of consciousness, yoga, subtle levels, etc. My original post as I recall had to do with the current Pope saying in so many words that Christianity was the only way to God. Christianity as THEY practice it. My comment was "So what's knew"? This is and has always been the official doctrine of the Church. There is nothing new here. It's not as if the Pope is now leading his flock off in some other direction than what it has been heading for  the past 1,950 years. The average meditator who has clearly transcended has an opportunity to see the teachings of Christ in a different light, but these different perceptions are rarely if at all accepted by the Church, too weird and freaky for them. Why? Because there is no experience way too abstract for them.
