Having acquired a good night's sleep, head pointing south by the way
I am curious about the following:

Using as a starting point MMY's exhortation that "the world is as
you are, live unbounded awareness", and questioning as much as I am
aware of, I am left with the indisputable fact that there is a large
external reality where many, many people on Earth are less happy
than they could be; living a nightmare, suffering, lack of
awareness, just plain being f*cked up, exists in this world we live
in.

I am also aware that there is a clear delineation, a point where my
reality starts and stops and that I can indulge in this external
suffering or not. I can attach to it and make it real in my life, or
not.

Thirdly I am aware that when I have fully integrated hell and
hellish Reality into myself, it is as if transformed. I am no longer
attached to it. I am no longer it, and it then appears as memory.
Like dried fruit, no juice. However it remains a living reality for
a great many of those in our Earth community.

So how does this end of suffering of the individual, this living
unattached to the nightmare affect the rest of the Earth's people? I
can see the profound nature of so many awakening and awakened souls
on this FFL group. However, I am still curious about how all of this
affects the rest of the world, and how profoundly?

For years we have all heard how Maharishi's programs have been
useful to this end of global enlightenment. The half-of-square-root-
of-one-percent-daily-requirement-triple-backflip-effect, etc.
However the statistical studies on this have remained inconclusive
(as most clearly demonstrated by Fairfield not being a utopia).

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I am looking for further
knowledge that correlates personal enlightenment to global
enlightenment. Something `meaty' please.

Thank you,

Jim
