> now why would they circle around ? can't they stay put. I don't know. That is the way I saw them. > how would they look like, size of wings, colours, were they looking at > you, talking with you or just smiling ? etc. > It depends. The ones circling above my daughter looked like women with long colored robes, muted green and purple each, long wavy brown hair, kind faces, and of course wings. Very gentle. The ones I've seen around hospitals were much lighter looking, more white and gold. But then I had to get to my doctor appointment. They are a comforting presence, so I don't talk with them. I am in awe of them. Its like peter commented above, the more you put your attention on it, the more you can see. Just like TM it is a mechanical process; all in the sutras. It is not something odd or strange. Much like Rory's comment about having an inflated opinion of enlightenment, much of what seems so striking this time around is that the light is against such a dramatic background of darkeness that everyone makes such a big deal about it. However in an enlightened world, talking about all of this would be quite a yawn. Wings of Desire (Wim Wenders) is a good movie about angels. There's also one that nicky cage did, can't recall the title.
