It's a technique like a doorstop which stops the door from opening and closing in constant duality. One keeps trying at times to shove it one way or another but it is never full open or full closed again. It becomes like a rock in the stream, or a metronome tickcing. Never lost, so no effort can be made since the pointing out is not in words. It's not understood but it's there anyway. This is why no one should listen to what I said. If words are used then it's not pointing out is it?  Best to get it from a master and not a bunch of guessing and ignorant jokers. Ever gotten driving directions? Right under the bridge, left another left and then go straight a mile.  Better the guy came outside and pointed out the place.

Seeing through the mind its very ground, ascertaining that and never losing it.

Does this involve effort in your opinion?
