Lots of jobs there, hmmmm.... now, that to use your term is .....,
well, let's say inaccurate. It is easy to find out the umemployment
rate in Skem in comparison to neighboring cities. For example, see

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/1024963.stm

for a light-hearted look at its effects (even if the effects
themselves are not light-hearted)

As for commuters, some sidhas do commute. In fact, I said that
Skelmersdale has very few jobs, and if TM people work, they either
work in TM enterprises, or they have to commute out of Skem for that
reason - Skem has a higher than average unemployment rate. However,
your figures for secondary teachers/higher education while
appropriatley vague (exactly how many is "Many") can also be argued,
Currently, I can count 5 people who are employed full-time at
neighboring universities/colleges of higher education. If you think
that is "many", then you are right, I suppose. I do not know how
many about elementary/secondary in the state system - I can come up
with about 12 full-time).

In any case, I was talking about Skelmersdale attraction to non-sidha
commuters. If you have lived there, you will note the Skelmersdale is
surrounded by a wide range of beautiful and upscale housing in
neighboring communities, and many, many people commute to bigger
cities from/to these areas. I was not talking about these areas - I
am/was talking about Skelmersdale.

As regards your $400,000 houses (now down to $350,000) (are we
hearing $300,000 anyone!?), we will definitely come to agreement as
you keep coming down! Yes, the most expensive houses in Skelmersdale
are built by Sidhas near the dome - not something that non-sidhas
will necessarily want - at least immediately. And, yes, as I said,
there are very, very few houses worth $400,000 - they are mostly
Stapathya veda near the dome. Yes - they exist, but they are very
few Stapathya Veda houses period - as I said. In fact, I had
underestetimated - I just checked and there are a few asking even
more than $400,000, about $500,000 (BP250,000) for the SV/1 minute to
the Dome (but I think you will see the cache of this not going down
very well for non-sidhas).

Nearness to the dome (i.e. less than 10 minutes) and/or Stapathya
veda increases (or used to up until now) the value of houses. Move
beyond 10 minutes from the dome, and you will get an average price
for a three bedroom house to be about BP90,000 (about $180,000).

Again, why rely on my figures, here is one source for price of "Dome"
housing, and other housing as of end of 2004.

http://www.maharishi-european-sidhaland.org.uk/Housing.htm

But, as you said, you lived there, and I am quoting BS statistics and
you are right....because you lived there once and "know" people.
