Well if I knew what he was doing....Lets just say that I believe 100% in his intention. My view of life is that anything other than self knowledge is totally useless ,meaningless and leads to nothing. It's all just sand castles that get erased on the next high tide. Human life as we know it is like a locked boxcar off in the corner of the universe where the inhabitants think their four walls are the extent of creation. The only thing that amounts to anything at all is unlocking the door and getting out of that box. The rest of it is pure boxcar ignorance. Untold numbers of Angels, Devatas, Masters, Effulgent Beings of Light or whatever, roaring with the unimpeded torrent of infinite, unlimited golden consciousness, stretching beyond the furthest beyond, blow their trumpets with smiling delight when even one human begins to turn their life to That. Maharishi is not the only one making a fool out of himself in an attempt to turn human life in the direction of Self Knowledge, and he is certainly not the only one ridiculed for it. But if we think that the success or validity of these efforts depends on whether or not they appear to be successful on the relative level, then maybe we are the fools.
