I don't get the shoehorn comment but, sorry, I am adamantly holding 
on to the "no lifestyle change necessary" tenet.  I think it's 
great...AND the genius behind the TM program!

"A culture available that really does support higher states of 
consciousness"?  Why can't a pro-capitalist, REpublican red-meat-
eating bisexual cowboy living on a 10,000 acre ranch who does TM 
twice a day be in an environment that support higher states of 
consciousness if that is where tha particular cowboy wants to be?
