I agree. Is man inherently good or evil? If the answer is "good" then: How do you change people so that they become more ethical? Scientology has ethics technology that demonstrates to the individual that his personal survival depends upon the survival of others and that cheating them is really cheating himself. Quite a realization when that occurs. Personal integrity is reestablished and (for me personally) that's quite something to see. It only happens when you give each individual the means whereby to see this for himself. It can't be legislated or forced. Obviously, anything that creates this effect is valuable. If doing TM, sidhis, yagyas, peace palaces, etc, etc create this transition in individuals, they should be supported like anything else that contributes to this final goal. I just happen to believe that it's up to man to save himself and that his own personal responsibility and integrity have to come up if we're to have a chance. Individuals only allow themselves to become powerful if they can trust themselves to handle that spiritual power without hurting others. Transgressions actually work to cause the individual to withold their own power to protect others from them. Most criminals assist themselves to be caught (look at how inept most police are) I agree w/ MMY that the salvation of the world comes down to changing individuals in a positive way. We need to support anything that assists the individual in this direction.
