As for the "ever-expanding universe", it means it cannot collapse 
back to a point and as matter is scattered at accellerating speed 
(due to properties of dark matter and energy) and eventually exceed 
the speed of light, everything will cool down to near absolute zero 
and float away in isolation and utter darkness. Nothing to get 
excited about there.

Meanwhile there are supposedly billions of universes all over, each 
with different combinations of laws of nature - hence our own with 
the particular laws and finely balanced parameters that enable life 
to evolve here are just the result of blind chance. Where is there 
room for any spirituality here, one wonders.

Yet Hagelin suggests universes are created as  thoughts arising from 
the transcendent; that dark matter is the "unmanifest" (corresponding 
to 3/4 of Brahma, as the scriptures said)and also the stuff of 
subtler bodies.

It's all very wierd stuff...
