Yeah, this is like Sheldrake's idea of a morphegenetic field--someone attains a state of awareness and this establishes a "memory" within nature. If all time is really seen as pressed up against the present, we are merely using a memory in the field which allows us to tap into our future-selves, our Buddha-nature. Going to be enlightened in 10 lives, 1 life, a hundred lives, a million lives? It doesn't matter--tap into your future enlightened Buddha-nature here-&-now. The enlightened being sets up that meme as a morphegenetic field--we tap in, but it's not through that object, but our own inner guru, which was always there from the beginning. ----Ah yes, coool idea, I have always though about.
