That is also my understaqnding of her experiences.

---So that's not really being possessed except in the same way as when you possess, say, a cat, it also possesses you. Actual possession is what Voodoo zombies are made from, that is, drugged and isolated, barely cognizant -other beings.

Voodoo is the ideal study in possession since it is where one actively becomes possessed for a few moments and the sidhi of the deity comes through. In no case do these deities stick around and possess you for very long. I would find it odd if the deities were none other than our most familiar Vedic Devata.

The reason Voodoo is so feared and hated is it's black and Afro-French-Haitian.  The reason Haiti is still oppressed is not due to Voodoo or some other superstitious notion but because the Haitians had the first and only successful slavery rebellion, where they threw off French Tyranny.  Voodoo was the unifier in the equation. Since then they have been castigated as a people by the West, and Western banks.

Of course then Papa and Baby Doc, ostensibly two dictators, and then the West, said "I told you so, they're just niggers who can't think or act for themselves!"

So we tend to think of Haiti as dark, and evil, and stupid, and criticize Voodoo for that as well. The truth is that they are still being punished for their slavery uprising in the 1800s. Just like blacks elsewhere.

I know affirmative action, welfare, yada yada yada. I'm talking about people looking at another person not as a color but as a person. In this way blacks are still being judged every second of every day, and it has to stop.

What is my point?  Possession if done right is valuable, but only some dumb ass spirit is going to possess some mundane being, and only some dumb ass being is going to be possessed, like a zombie. And they're merely possessed by -poudres.

The rest is just heavy thinking of the obsessive-compulsive type.
