The shift is a foundational transformation of "self".
In waking state self is a psychological, private
entity, separate from others. In CC this self
disappears and only simple, pure awareness remains.
Everything occurs within this awareness. You can't
even say you are the awareness because you no longer
exist. It also becomes quite clear that "you" never
actually did exist. It was a delusion. Awareness has
always been. It is dimensionless and has no end.
