At one point, MMY had what he called the Sidhis Parlement that was to 
have the local TMers and Citizen Sidhas run the day-to-day affairs of 
TM centers while the TM teachers simply taught TM. Many individual TM 
teachers were so angry at the idea that they would lose their 
spiritual power base that they sabatoged the idea at every turn.
