Because his sidhis were not aparent to all. They were
only apparent to his 'chosen ones.' Frankly, with that Jewish hookbill shnoz of
his he never was all that hot to me. I thought he seemed cool wearing a leather
jacket, but then I had been a punk rocker. I knew a con when I saw one. My
sister owning a psychic institute called "Inner Perceptions" allowed me to meet
a thousand different such people of every possible distinction. Out of
them all perhaps ten had any sort of sidhi, and by sidhi in their case I
mean merely self knowledge. Only Sholom Carlbach seemed beyond ego, but
that was probably just an act. There was a psychic named Reverend Marilyn, and
Carolyn Lacy. There was Bearheart, Isreal Regardie, and a Hindu palmreader. The
rest "were all" shysters. Lenz as well. In this world, in this life I have
seen and met almost everyone and everything that ever came to the US. Lenz was a
pathetic shyster. His life led to his death, and his bad karma lives on still.

Performed them in public "intro lectures" in the L.A. Convention Center and in Carnegie Hall. Suffice it to say that the "big impact" you mention was not forthcoming. There are many reasons for this, IMO. First, not every- one in the room saw the same thing; there seems to be a subjective element to seeing many of the siddhis. Second, a lot of people who did see that stuff were so freaked out inwardly that they *immediately* tried to come up with rationalizations to make the whole experience go away, to pretend it never happened or that it was done with wires and mirrors. It's just human nature. > But then, in light of Unc's experience of > him rearranging the stars, which he obviously couldn't have > done, it seems e had the ability to make people around him > see things. Either that, or siddhis such as that one were done on a different "level" than the one we associate with everyday reality. That's my bet. He never suggested what anyone would see -- the most he'd say was, "Watch." And people would watch, and a large percentage of them would see the same phenomenon, while others would see nothing. Go figure. > So what if he was just making them see him levitate, go > invisible, etc., and wasn't actually doing those things? > Was he ever videotaped doing those things? I dealt with some of the answers I have come up with for myself in one of the stories I wrote, at: http://www.ramalila.net/RoadTripMind/rtm47.html Unc To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!'
