Would you believe us? Would you be angry? Possibly blinded by
hatred? Or just because America says the word 'democracy', you would
overlook the obvious hell that your world has become and welcome
the 'liberators' with flowers?

Please answer me that- how would you honestly react to America's
impositon of its military power if you were living in the Middle
East?

Well if I were a Kurd or a Shiite or any other minority in Iraq I could be pessimistic and think Americans are just here to screw me over like everybody else has been doing for ever or I might be optimistic and recognize there could be something very good trying to happen and maybe I should listen to what the Americans are trying to tell me. If I were a Sunni I would be concerned about my possible loss of status in the country. One can be optimistic and make the most out of what you have or be pessimistic and have nothing as usual. I wonder what the Germans, Italians and Japanese felt when they were invaded and their countries were destroyed and what they feel now about what they lost then.
