Your lack of grasp of my primary point jim is astonishing: individual vs corporate control (which has far more decentralized and distributed than an individual, governance by boards and managed by diverse teams, and often consisting of 20-50 often quite independent companies ). And the author you cite is referring to a majority of media, which could mean 55%, not ALL media. Further, I think he is misleading and not counting major media such as cable, video content providers, internet media, etc. As I stated, growing media concentraion is a concern. But all media is NOT controlled by 5 people. To speculate that such may be true indicates a severe disconnect with any serious view of media -- and perhaps the larger economy in general.
