Apparently he prefers effort in his practice and it's his mission to argue that losing the mantra means TM is flawed.

He tries mightily to squeeze TM into a box where effort rules supreme and it just doesn't fit. It only demonstrates his lack of understanding about TM.
I am not trying to squeeze TM into a box I am not trying to serve it with lox I do not believe "effort rules supreme" Not even in my fanciest dream.
