Gibbon's is an asshole. He was going to refuse the stimulus money for
political reasons. Obama is not responsible for our decline. Gibbons refuses
to raise the taxes on the Casinos, they may be "down" but they still made
billions, just a few billion short. ...not enough for them. We were invited
to the fund raiser, of course, could not afford the admission donation by
Reid. Gibbons is a "manwhore", a week after he was elected he told his wife
of over 30 years to move out of Gov. Mansion , because he's been having an
affair with some woman for 20 years. One week before his election he
accosted a cocktail waitress in the parking lot. She pressed charges, but
the "then" police chief and gibbons were buddies, they forced her to drop
the charges, suddenly all the tapes of the garage went missing. Since then,
new police chief, she has pressed charges. He has a 5-10% approval rating
here. Everyone hates him. So? because of his politics, he will blame Obama?
They always need a scapegoat. He's coming for Reid, not to meet Gibbons.
Another reason, the town is going dead, is that the "no smoking" law went
into effect, which will change coming this December. All the small casinos
lost money if they sold food, many had to close. The big casinos restaurants
offer 1/2 prices and still can't get people in. Most but not all gamblers
smoke. two addictions , but they work together. They also raised drink
prices to almost double, (I don't drink), but the average Joe is not going
to pay 5.00 for a bottle of beer. Casinos are still making billions, but
it's always not enough for them. They are all Republicans as is Gibbons,
GREED screwed this town. When conventions come to town, the room prices
double and triple (goes on business tab (which came from us the tax payers)
gave them.. No wonder Obama said what he did and we deserved it. I read this
article in the paper.
