You know, this is a really interesting thesis: If somebody says you're X, and you respond that you're not X, it must be *because you really ARE X*--otherwise, why on earth would it ever occur to you to deny it? The only way you can prove you're *not* X is by not denying that you are. So let's all remember that whenever Barry denies something-or-other, it's because it's true. E.g.: "I'm not trying to be superior here or push for my theory." "I'm not making any kind of statement here." "I'm not saying to you that you should *not* believe the things that you believe." "I'm not saying that you're wrong in the assertion." "I'm not saying that this is true." "I'm not pushing my beliefs on anyone else." "I'm not asking you to believe me." "I'm NOT saying that this is the *only* View." "I'm not demanding anything." "I'm not trying to sell you anything." "I'm not trying to sell you anything." "I'm not trying to sell you anything." "I'm not trying to sell you anything or convince you of anything." "I'm not worried." "I'm not looking for argument." "I'm not being nihilist." "I'm not a member of the Church Of God The Used Car Salesman." "I'm not a Buddhist per se." "I'm not usually big on churches and their holidays." "I'm not a doctor." "I'm not gay." "I'm not Curtis." "I'm not Vaj."
