If you're referring to the woman who was on the Phil Donahue show, she never claimed to have been "cured" of cancer; her cancer had gone into remission after mastectomy and chemotherapy, as certified by her physicians. She'd followed all the medical recommendations. What she reported was that she had started a Maharishi Ayur-Veda regimen while she was doing the chemotherapy and it had helped mitigate the side effects. She did ultimately have a recurrence and died, sadly. That can happen with breast cancer despite the best, most rigorous treatment.
