True, I keep getting sidetracked. What SSS said 30 years ago has no 
bearing on what the latest Shankaracharya (or pseudo-Shankaracharya --
waves to Dana)  would say about MMY anyway. In fact,the latest 
Shankaracharya of that lineage has endorsed Chopra --don't know what 
he says about MMY.
