OooOOOPsie. Three-and-a-half is most definitely school age in France, which has a long tradition of sending children to preschool when they're as young as 2 years old. (The U.S. has preschools too, called "nursery school" and "kindergarten," although unlike in France, except for Head Start for low-income children, only kindergarten is publicly funded.) On the other hand, it appears there may be some confusion about what Hagelin said: > He announced that, with Maharishi's blessing, he had > gotten married some eight years ago, and has two > beautiful daughters, age 5-1/2 and 3-1/2. Maharishi > had requested him to, for the children's sake, > maintain the privacy of his family until the OLDEST > was old enough to begin school. [emphasis added] The oldest of Tony's children is 5-1/2, not 3-1/2. So it would appear that even his U.S. followers wouldn't be stupid to think she was school age.
