Very strange. Paligap and Vaj seem to be stuck way in the past. I haven't lived in Manhattan for almost a decade, haven't lived in a rental apartment for almost five years, and haven't had any cats for close to 20 years. (And if by "living alone" one means I'm the sole owner of my home, that's correct, but one probably shouldn't take it much farther than that.)
